Red dragons of Meldale

March 28, 2013

The photos have been taken from 2009- 2013 all on our property in Meldale  SE QLD.

In 2010 one of the most common seasonal red dragons were Red Arrows and yet this last season (2012-13) there have been only a few.

There are Wandering Perchers all year round.  My favorites are male Common Gliders and female Fiery Skimmers.

The rarest here is the Dune Glider I have seen only 2,  followed by the Pigmy Percher which  is seen in summer and is uncommon but a few are seen each season.
